Wasatch Deli (in the Ranches)

Now that there is another owner I thought I would see if they had the quality of food the other owner had. Well, to start with the menu is on a different wall,  not in a place I would put it. It is very hard to tell the prices of each item. I ordered a Philly Cheese steak sandwich which used to be about $8.00 including french fries. It is now $8.99 and to my surprise that did not include french fries. I was totally disappointed. It tasted fine except the onions were a thick not thin like you find on other Philly sandwiches. This is not a place I would go back to especially when I can get a Philly Cheese steak sandwich for half that price and it comes with cheese whiz! I can also get the fries and still spend less than I did here!

Los 2 Hermanos (in the Ranches)

After trying this restaurant right after it opened  (and not liking it then) I thought I would try it again to see if they just had an off night. I ordered my food to go and wanted an extremely long period of time. Finally, the order was up and I left. Well, the french fries were half an order and not all the way cooked. The chicken taco was tasteless! I could not believe it. I was hoping it had improved and to my disappointment it had not. The price was not great either as an order of french fries and a chicken taco nothing else was $8.00.  However, on the bright side if you want to have a meeting at the restaurant there is more than enough room to have it there and enjoy being able to discuss items on your agenda!

Milagros

My husband and I were in Orem driving around 800 North and came across Milagros. We debated if we really wanted to try it or not. We checked out the parking lot and it was full of cars-that was a good sign. We then went inside and waited only a few minutes to get a table. (The decor was very nice and gave me some good ideas for future decorating at my house.) We could not decide on what to order there were so many things that sounded great. After much deliberation we settled on the  Honey-Pineapple Shrimp Salad, Chilli Rellano, and a Chicken Fundito. We received our food and it was bountiful as well as looked great. Everything was fabulous, extremely fresh, and no matter how full you were you could not stop eating!  My suggestion would be to not eat too many chips while waiting for your food.  We were even entertained by a young lad with his guitar. Everything was great and it would be a place I would go back to as well as invite guests to.  It is near WinCo grocery store off 800 North in Orem.

Marley's Gourmet Sliders

I was not sure what a slider was. So, I stopped at Marley's off Geneva road on my way running errands (it is in the same building as the Harley Davidson Motorcycles are). The atmosphere was casual and the table tops have bottle caps on them. It was fun to see how many drinks I actually have heard of. The  building itself is also interesting to see, it is something you have to go to just for the experience. While eating you can watch the mechanics fix Harley Motorcycles.
There was a large selection of sliders: burgers, prime rib,and other items. There was also a large selection of items to put on the slider, my favorite being the blue cheese spread. The french fries are wonderful. They are cut very thin and are a taste bud sensation! Everything tasted wonderful. The price is more than a regular hamburger and fries. However, it is well worth it. This is a place I will definitely go back to. When it says gourmet in the name I agree!

Slider's Gourmet

I thought I would stop and check out this place in
Highland by Smith's Marketplace. I love the sliders at
Marley's Sliders off of Geneva Road. So, I was hoping for the
same flavor. Not so! When I walked into the restaurant
I was immediately hit with the smell of cleaning fluid. Not a
something I want to smell when I walk into a restaurant.
Then I ordered and waited for a short time for the food. I am not
sure why it is called Slider's Gourmet because it is not gourmet.
The slider had no flavor and the gourmet french fries were just
french fries no gourmet to them. I ordered a "mini mouse",
also gourmet, and again just average nothing gourmet. It
was kind of expensive and not a place I would go back
to even if I had a free coupon. The cashier was nice but that
was about the only nice thing there.

Winger's in Lehi, UT

I like to use businesses in my community. Therefore, as I was planning a luncheon for a group, and wanted to do something special, Winger's was suggested. I called the restaurant and the prices were very reasonable for a group of 10-15. It took just a short time to get the order after I called it in. When I got to the restaurant the order was ready and already bagged up. They gave us extra popcorn (something that is offered in their restaurant), they gave us more than enough salad dressing, plates, napkins, and eating utensils. The salad I ordered was huge and was more than enough for our group and extremely fresh. I also ordered the wraps, we got two trays of them and it was well worth the money. The other order was for a tray of finger boneless wings, I am not sure the real name is but we got two trays of those and had more than enough. Everyone had more than enough to eat and no complaints. I asked for four cups of water in cups to go. They went above and beyond and made sure I had extra cups and ice and a container filled with water at no extra charge! I would highly recommend using Winger's in Lehi if you are having a luncheon and would like serve a nice meal. The other thing I liked about going there is how nice the owner's are and also how helpful the employees are. When I left the restaurant I felt like I had been treated like royalty! I would recommend Winger's very highly.

Thanksgiving Point Cafe
This a great place to enjoy a quick meal that is fresh and very tasty. We did not wait very long to get our meal after we ordered it.  My husband ordered a prime rib sandwich, I ordered the BBQ chicken wrap, and our daughter ordered the Dino nuggets.Their french fries are great and the fry sauce is very, very good. I have to say that we had more than we could eat, in fact I gave my husband half of the BBQ chicken wrap it was so big.  There is a wonderful dessert case that has just about everything you could want right where you order your meal. It is very hard to not get dessert and eat it before your meal comes! The price was worth what we paid for it. The atmosphere at Thanksgiving Point is very pleasant, in fact it is hard to leave it is so peaceful there!  Well worth dropping by!
